TCEB extends support for world’s premiere ladies professional golf tournament

Ms Parichat Svetasreni, Director of Marketing and Corporate Image Department of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB, and Mr Palakorn Somsuwan, Managing Director of Bangkok Broadcasting and TV, signed a memorandum of understanding for an agreement from TCEB to provide support as one of the main sponsors for the world’s premiere ladies professional golf tournament, Honda LPGA Thailand 2016, which will take place from 25-28 February, 2016.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2016, which also marks the event’s 10th anniversary, is expected to see more than 70 ladies golf professional players competing for the top prize worth 1.6 million US dollar or about 59 million baht, as well as many other special prizes, via live broadcast on Thai Television Channel 7.

This world’s premiere ladies professional golf tournament will help enhance the image of Thailand as a destination for international MICE visitors, in line with TCEB’s 2016 marketing communications campaign, Thailand CONNECT: Our Heart Your World. The event will also forms part of TCEB’s many activities to reach its 2016 targets of attracting 1,060,000 business travelers and earning 92 billion baht revenue for the Thai economy.
