The Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Asia Conference 2024

Chulalongkorn University is co-hosting with Harvard University this year for the HPAIR Asia Conference in Bangkok! For the first time, Chulalongkorn University brings back the HPAIR Asia Conference to Bangkok after 27 years.

From August 21st to 25th, Chulalongkorn University and Harvard University collaboratively host the “CU-HPAIR Asia Conference 2024” at Chulalongkorn University under the theme of “Reimagining Connectivity: Building Bridges in a Globalized Society”. The front-line businesspersons, authoritarians as well as the representatives of young leaders from worldwide are invited.

Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations or “HPAIR” is a student-led project established by Harvard University to create a forum for young leaders to engage and learn about economic, political, and social matters in the Asia Region. Moreover, this event invites many businesspersons and authoritarians from around the world to deliver a speech and spark inspiration. Since 1991, Harvard University has arranged Asia Conferences in more than 34 countries in Asia.

The conference enables delegates to discuss and connect with numerous speakers from both Thailand and abroad, including Emmy Kan, the senior vice president and president of Starbucks Asia Pacific, H.E. Igor Driesmans, EU Ambassador to Cambodia and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar, and Mr. Smittipon Srethapramote, the Chief Executive Officer of Banpu NEXT.

Chulalongkorn University’s success in being the hosting partner with Harvard University for HPAIR ACONF2024 allows them to bring Thailand to the International Scale Academic Sphere. Moreover, it marks the opportunity for Chula students to demonstrate the aesthetics, culture, buildings, tourist spots, Chulalongkorn University, and Thailand’s identity and marks the pride of Thailand for being accepted by international perception.

This conference has been supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) ever since Chulalongkorn University presented the bid book until designated days.
