It’s now time for exhibition stakeholders to restart your business, deliver values for all relevant audiences, explore international partnership, embrace new opportunities, maximize performance and restore exhibition industry together in Thailand.
Following Thailand’s reopening campaign, *30,538 international visitors have entered the country and the top 10 countries of origin providing the most travellers are the United States of America, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, France and United Arab Emirates.
The reopening plan will help bolster the number of international arrivals in Thailand by 64 percent during the final two months of 2021. One million international travellers are expected in the next six months, with a target revenue of USD 17.87 billion and surpassing USD 30 billion for the whole of 2022.
Easing the restrictions to international travellers from 63 low-risk countries flying into Thailand with no quarantine requirements is a huge positive step to kick start the economy and essentially signals a major boon for not only leisure travel business but importantly for business travel industry and exhibitions of which international participation is of vital importance.
In this regard, Exhibitions Department of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB has crafted its key exhibitions strategy to build strong foundation for the industry, broaden business opportunities through active collaboration with government agencies and boost up industry performance through the world iconic events with an aim to accelerate the industry, a key economy booster, and reaffirm Thailand as ASEAN’s leader of exhibition industry.

Let’s Co-Create the Future of Exhibitions Together Again in Thailand.
Co-creation will be a new path that TCEB is earmarking and moving forward for the future of exhibition industry through the national agenda with professionalism and trusting partners, driving both local and international organizers to win in ASEAN.
TCEB’s Senior Vice President, Mrs. Nichapa Yoswee has shared to global exhibition professionals, at the 88th UFI Global Congress in November 2021, the current travel protocol to Thailand and how to create a winning business in Thailand and ASEAN, under the theme “Co-creation - Together Again in Thailand”.
From now until year 2022, TCEB’s Exhibitions Department is gearing towards 73 international trade shows in the country of which a key success comes from a right local partner. With an aim to ensure that local capabilities and proficiency are ready for international collaboration and the upcoming physical exhibitions, TCEB has launched “EO: Pro LEAGUE”, a business incubation program to turn local exhibition stakeholders into a pro level and ready for professionalism with a target of 25 certified stakeholders by 2023.
To equip yourselves with industrial knowledge and enhance your professional skills for the coming international exhibitions, all local exhibition stakeholders are welcome to join the 2nd intensive business training of “EO: Pro LEAGUE” on 14 December 2021 in Bangkok, the first physical training event since COVID-19.
“We share the same goal. Exhibition stakeholders aim to expand your business whereby TCEB uses exhibitions to drive the government policy and position Thailand as the destination. By no means, nothing can substitute face-to-face contact. We are ready to meet you all and continue our conversation on new opportunities in my country and the region. Thailand has re-opened and is ready. We look forward to meeting you and being together again in Thailand.” left Mrs. Nichapa.
