2. Meeting in Thailand – Accelerate the Thai Economy 2023 Project
The Meeting in Thailand – Accelerate the Thai Economy 2023 Project is an initiative to support entrepreneurs and others who wish to hold corporate meetings or domestic reward travel activities in Thailand. To qualify for support, activities must fall into one of seven types: meetings, incentives, seminars, training activities, social activities (CSR), employee relations activities (outings), or study visits (field trips). Support for activities is available in two models:
1) Support of not more than Bt15,000 for 650 one-day activities.
2) Support of not more than Bt30,000 for 350 two-day/one-night activities.
Interested entrepreneurs can apply for support from 1 April to 22 August 2023 by registering through TCEB’s Thai MICE Connect platform – www.thaimiceconnect.com. To be eligible to apply, activities must have a minimum of 30 participants, and the activity must be organised by 30 August 2023.

3. Developing Sustainable Professional Meetings
TCEB recently organised a public meeting for the private and public sectors on regulations related to MICE events (MICE Clinic). Organised. The “Developing Sustainable Professional Meetings” event was hosted by TCEB’s Public Enterprise Administration Division and was held on 27 June 2023 in the Main Meeting Room on the 4th floor at the Customs Academy Training Centre building. The WCO Regional Training Centre is a regional training facility of the World Customs Organisation.
The Customs Department organises a number of domestic and international corporate meetings and seminars. The programmes are divided into central and regional activities as well as carbon-neutral international academic seminars.
