To facilitate the procedures for the MICE industry, especially with respect to international exhibitions where exhibitors wish to import products from overseas, the FDA has created the following series of manuals to provide accurate information on the subject of goods that require import authorisation:
Public Manuals for Pharmaceutical Products and Narcotic Products
Public Manual for Food Products
Public Manual for Medical Devices
Public Manuals for Cosmetics and Hazardous Substance Products
Public Manual for Narcotic Products
Public Manual for Herbal Products

3. Standards for Event Organisation & Venues
Thailand’s readiness to provide the highest quality services is a primary aim of the MICE business. TCEB provides support to prepare for, and elevate, the ability of venues to meet the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) and ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) criteria. It also provides guidelines on additional hygiene and hybrid meeting technology standards to raise the quality of Thai venues, building confidence in services with its 2HY (Hygiene and Hybrid) formula to ensure the readiness of these venues to host domestic and international events in the “new normal” era.
TCEB, in co-operation with Business of Creative and Event Management Association and the Amari Don Muang Airport Hotel, recently organised the eighth “TMVS Partnership Programme” at the hotel, located opposite Don Muang Airport and conveniently accessible to the SRT Dark Red elevated train line. TMVS and AMVS are two of the standards that instill trust in event participants and organisers at the hotel, which offers services and venues for meetings, weddings, seminars, and more. The hotel boasts more than 10 meeting rooms. All of which can accommodate more than a thousand people and offers spacious guest rooms and menu breaks that can be designed to meet a variety of themes, including “Street Food”, “Classical Era”, “Tropical Jungle”, and “Healthy” to enhance the MICE experience.
The TMVS Partnership Programme is a programme organised by TCEB and Business of Creative and Event Management Association. Its aim is to build a network and foster business between establishments that meet the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) criteria and on-site and hybrid event organisers. The programme encompasses both government and private sector operators who are looking for venues capable of hosting their events. The programme offers many benefits to support MICE entrepreneurs, and promote, support, and build networks to strengthen the country’s MICE industry.
